Setting the X and Y grid
- Setting the grid field to 1
is the same as not having a grid active.
Any other value will cause most of the drawing functions to line up
to the grid size picked. This
allows for more precise geometric drawings, and patterns that line up.
- To adjust the X and Y grid
spacing, click the up and down arrows next to the number in the ‘grid’
field.
- Note that both X and Y grid
settings are set to the same number (shown in the grid field) at all
times.
UNDO and REDO functions
- There are 6 levels of
UNDO/REDO in graffiti wall. This
means you can undo the last 6 actions taken. Also you can redo them should you change
your mind. Note, however, that once
you post your work on the web, you can no longer undo the actions you took
before you posted your image.
- To UNDO you last action,
press the UNDO button. To UNDO the
action you took before, press UNDO again.
- To REDO (effectively UNDO you
last UNDO) click the REDO button.
- Note that the UNDO and REDO
buttons will turn gray when they are not useable. For example if there is nothing to undo
the UNDO button text will be grayed out.
Load the image from the web onto your canvas
- Click the 'Refresh from Web'
button.
- Wait until the status display
indicates that the operation is complete. The rate at which this
operation completes depends on your internet connection speed. It
may take several seconds on dialup connections, and will be instantaneous
on many broad band connections.
- This operation will load the
contents of the web. If no one else is using the Wall you're using,
then the results will be predictable. However if someone else is
drawing their own creation, or modifying yours, you may see their handy
work if they have posted their work to the web.
Post your image from the canvas to the WEB!
- Click the 'Post to Web'
button.
- Wait until the status
display indicates that the operation is complete. The rate at which
this operation completes depends on your internet connection speed.
It may take several seconds on dialup connections, and will be near
instantaneous on many broad band connections.
- This operation will not only
save your creation to the web, but will also blend it with what's already
there! This means that if someone else posted something a couple of
minutes ago while you were hard at work on your creation, their creation
will get blended with yours. When the 'Post to Web' operation
completes, the result of this blending will appear on your drawing
area! This opens up possibilities to write a message, and have
someone else cross out part of it, and change the meaning, or even add a
little message of their own... Potentially dozens of people can
modify a message.
